COVID-19 UPDATE
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 the Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race(GNCTR) will not be held in person, and instead will host a virtual competition this year. The online competition will include all the regular reporting requirements with the exception of the building and racing portions. Unfortunately, due to these circumstances, the University of Toronto Concrete Toboggan team will not be fabricating a full-scale toboggan this year. Although are team is disappointed that we will not be able to race this year, we are very excited to be able to include some more complex ideas into our designs that we have not been able to in the past! More information on how GNCTR will be different this year can be found on the GNCTR 2021/2022 website (https://www.gnctr2021.ca)

DESIGN AND SPIRIT UPDATES

Our design and spirit teams have been hard at work getting ready for this year’s GNCTR!
Our design team has just completed their concept review to present and discuss their candidate designs for this year’s competition.
On the spirit side of things, the spirit team has been deciding on our theme for GNCTR 2021!

BABY-BOGS
Our Steering Lead, Bobby, was sad to hear that we would not be building a toboggan this year, so he decided to 3D print a couple “Baby-Bogs” from our last two GNCTRs!
